Q: What is your favorite thing about working at Delaware Tech?

"Learning from the students. Each semester, I find I take away a different lesson from the classes I teach. I enjoy learning about the students, their perspectives, and what their interests are. I'm a firm believer that we can all teach one another something valuable from each other's life experiences."

Q: Why was it important for you to work at Delaware Tech?

"I was a student at Delaware Tech and I had some of the best instructors of my educational career here."

Q: What did you do before working at Delaware Tech?

"While working at Delaware Tech, I also work in corporate communications/public relations for a company in 威明顿."

Q: Describe your first day at Delaware Tech. What was that experience like?

"I was hired during the pandemic, so I have been teaching remotely since I started at Delaware Tech. However, I am e年龄r to get to teach in the classroom soon. I'm very much looking forward to interacting with students face to face. One of the courses I teach is Human Communication, so human interaction is a big part of that."

Q: What changes have you seen in yourself since you started working here?

"I feel like I have become a better communicator since starting at Delaware Tech. Especially teaching during the pandemic, I feel communication is more vital now than ever."

Q: What hobbies or interests do you have outside of the College?

"I’m a big theater fan. Everything from Broadway to local theater productions and everything in between. I’ve even performed in a handful of shows in local theaters around the area. Aside from that I’m a news hound (see answer to question below for more on that!)"

Q: What's something people may not know about you?

"I'm a news anchor for a Delaware TV station. It's a great privilege to be able to deliver the news across our 状态 to keep everyone informed and up to date on the happenings right here in the First State."

Q: What are your future goals?

"Personally, I'd like to travel more in the future. I hope to have kids one day. I'd also like to learn to love going to the gym (is that a goal? 哈哈!). 专业, I would like to advance my career in public relations and become a mentor for young people who are looking to get started with a career in any form of communications. I'd also like to continue to further my education with an advanced degree."
